Static Health Assessment  

If you decide to purchase a block bookings package, I will firstly provide you with a health assessment in order to ascertain a base level for your current health and fitness. This will then be used as a foundation to build and improve upon during future assessments when evaluating your progress.

This assessment will include:

Blood pressure and resting heart rate reading
    Measuring blood pressure will give an indication of the pressure exerted on the
    walls of the blood vessels in the body. Resting heart rate will give an indication
    of physical fitness and good health. Through good exercise and nutrition,
blood
    pressure and resting heart rate can be controlled and decreased.
Measurement of body composition
    This will provide you with a reading of your body fat percentage, after which I
    will be able to classify your result for you. This is more important than just   
    measuring weight as if your body fat percentage is too high it can have serious
    implications on your health. Regular exercise and a healthy diet can address this
    and help to maintain and decrease body fat levels.
Peak flow reading
    This is a measurement of the amount of resistance in the airways and lungs.
    The test determines the power of the lungs. Regular exercise can help improve
    the situation by decreasing the resistance in the airways and lungs.

Once the health assessments are complete specific goals and an individualised programme are then set. Then the training starts and you will begin to work towards your health and fitness goals!
